Montgó Miel is a small artisan honey producer at the foot of the Montgó. Working with traditional hives and the wildflower meadows of the natural park, they make raw honey that tastes of this land: orange blossom, rosemary, thyme. We will meet the beekeepers, see how the honey is made and finish with a tasting.

Booking is needed so we can confirm numbers with Montgó Miel. Sign up by Wednesday 30 September; bring the cash on the day.

Good to know
  • Bring a small snack to go with the honey: bread, crackers or fruit. Anything goes.
  • The tasting includes raw honey. Please note any allergies when you sign up.
  • Closed shoes and comfortable clothes: we will be outdoors, on uneven paths near the hives.
  • Own transport, parking at the santuario. For a lift: the parents' WhatsApp carpool group.
  • Outside school hours; the school day ends as normal at 14:00.
  • Children may come without a parent or carer: our teachers are there all afternoon.
